Pam Venne, LPC, Chair - Member Services / Affinity Programs Committee

Pam Venne is a proven management style coach and a career transition consultant. She is also a licensed professional counselor. Pam draws upon her corporate experiences and professional training to provide valuable insight and guidance to clients confronting difficult transitions. Her ability to quickly identify challenges and to build trust and confidence expedites the process for executives of all levels from diverse professions and industries.

As a result of having worked with hundreds of senior and mid level managers both in executive coaching and career transition, Pam Venne has gained a wealth of knowledge about what causes an executive’s career to become stalled or even derailed. She has numerous successes in aiding executives to devise and implement strategies to regain career momentum and fulfill professional and personal objectives.

Pam’s career in human resources began in a chocolate manufacturing company (Ziegler Candy Co.) in Milwaukee. Subsequently, she provided HR direction and support for small private firms (Erie Manufacturing Company, Foodservice Management, Ireco Chemicals, Kelly Services), and then The Southland Corporation (7-Eleven) a Fortune 50 company. The scope of her responsibilities was nationwide.

In 1990 she launched her consulting career by joining Reedie & Company as a Vice President; Reedie was a regional outplacement and coaching boutique firm that was recognized for the work it did with senior executives. Pam was recruited in 2002 into Optimance, another entrepreneurial consulting firm to help build their executive coaching practice.

Pam is a practiced public speaker on executive coaching, career transition and its impact on the family, and retirement issues. These presentations have resulted in her being quoted in syndicated articles across the US.

Pam has been an active leader at both the local and national board levels of SHRM and ACPInternational. As President of the Dallas/Ft. Worth chapter of ACPInternational for over two years, the membership more than doubled under her leadership. Currently, she serves on the National Board of ACP International and leads the Affinity Program. In addition, she has been on the Board for a not-for-profit organization, Love for Kids.

Pam Venne received a BS from North Central College in Naperville, IL and a MA in counseling from Amber University in Garland, TX. She is certified by the state of Texas as a licensed professional counselor (LPC).
