Pam Venne, LPC, Chair - Member Services

Pam Venne is a proven management style
coach and a career transition consultant. She is also a licensed
professional counselor. Pam draws upon her corporate experiences
and professional training to provide valuable insight and guidance
to clients confronting difficult transitions. Her ability to quickly
identify challenges and to build trust and confidence expedites
the process for executives of all levels from diverse professions
and industries.
As a result of having worked with
hundreds of senior and mid level managers both in executive coaching
and career transition, Pam Venne has gained a wealth of knowledge
about what causes an executives career to become stalled or
even derailed. She has numerous successes in aiding executives to
devise and implement strategies to regain career momentum and fulfill
professional and personal objectives.
Pams career in human resources
began in a chocolate manufacturing company (Ziegler Candy Co.) in
Milwaukee. Subsequently, she provided HR direction and support for
small private firms (Erie Manufacturing Company, Foodservice Management,
Ireco Chemicals, Kelly Services), and then The Southland Corporation
(7-Eleven) a Fortune 50 company. The scope of her responsibilities
was nationwide.
In 1990 she launched her consulting
career by joining Reedie & Company as a Vice President; Reedie was
a regional outplacement and coaching boutique firm that was recognized
for the work it did with senior executives. Pam was recruited in
2002 into Optimance, another entrepreneurial consulting firm to
help build their executive coaching practice.
Pam is a practiced public speaker
on executive coaching, career transition and its impact on the family,
and retirement issues. These presentations have resulted in her
being quoted in syndicated articles across the US.
Pam has been an active leader at both
the local and national board levels of SHRM and ACPInternational.
As President of the Dallas/Ft. Worth chapter of ACPInternational
for over two years, the membership more than doubled under her leadership.
Currently, she serves on the National Board of ACP International
and leads the Affinity Program. In addition, she has been on the
Board for a not-for-profit organization, Love for Kids.
Pam Venne received a BS from North
Central College in Naperville, IL and a MA in counseling from Amber
University in Garland, TX. She is certified by the state of Texas
as a licensed professional counselor (LPC).
