Meg Montford, CMF, President-Elect & Web Pro Chair

Meg Montford coaches executives and professionals in proactively managing their careers. With a pragmatic inquiry approach, she partners with them as they achieve career development and career transition goals. Since entering the careers industry in 1986, Meg has helped hundreds conquer career challenges. Her success stems from her experience as a coach, recruiter and business developer. She established her career services firm, Abilities Enhanced®, in 1999 to provide career coaching to clients worldwide utilizing the Internet and the telephone.

Frequently, Meg delivers presentations to professional and industry-specific groups. Contributing to ten nationally published books, she has also authored several career-related articles appearing in print and online. She writes a monthly column on coaching topics for the Association of Coaching and Consulting Professionals on the Web. She has been quoted by media as The Wall Street Journal, Diversity Inc., Sales and Marketing Management Magazine, The Kansas City Star, and more. She trains independent coaches on marketing skills.

Meg is a graduate of both Career Coach Institute and Corporate Coach University. Her credentials include Master Certified Career Coach, Career Management Fellow, and Certified TeleClass Leader. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Missouri.

Promoting networking as key to business and career success, Meg facilitates regional ExecuNet networking events for Kansas City executives and moderates the ExecuNet online marketing forum. Besides membership in the Association of Career Professionals International, her additional affiliations include the Institute of Career Certification International, International Coach Federation, International Association of Coaches, and the American Marketing Association.

Meg serves as 2006 Technology Chair, ACP International-Kansas City Chapter and sits on the ACP International-USA Board as the 2006 President-Elect and Web Pro Chair. Former ACP International leadership roles include KC Chapter President (2003), Program Chair, PR & Marketing Chair, plus USA Board Chapter Enhancement Chair.
